Introduction

The GUM series medium-duty ceiling-mounted air coolers are primarily equipped with large-size, high-lift fan motors of 630mm and 710mm diameters, developed specifically to meet requirements for higher cooling capacity and longer throw distance. The series offers the following features:
●Casing:High-quality galvanized steel sheets with powder coating, offering strong corrosion resistance. Customizable with aluminum or stainless steel materials.
●Heat Exchanger End Plate:Aluminum plates serve as flexible tube sheet supports, preventing direct contact between copper tubes and steel plates, effectively protecting copper tubes.
●Drain Pan Design:External drain pan features an angled prismatic structure for smooth, dead-zone-free drainage. Internal drain pan is fully covered with aluminum plates to reduce air bypass, accelerate condensate drainage, and enhance defrost radiant heat.
●Heat Exchange Tubes:Medium-diameter high-efficiency inner grooved tubes. Optimized fin height enhances refrigerant flow disturbance, creating turbulent flow. This improves contact with tube inner walls and significantly increases heat transfer area compared to smooth tubes, effectively enhancing refrigerant-side heat transfer efficiency.
●Aluminum Fins:Latest European-style double sine wave staggered fin arrangement enhances air disturbance, optimizes pressure drop, and effectively improves air-side heat transfer efficiency.
●Material: Hydrophilic corrugated aluminum fins with strong corrosion resistance. Fin spacing: 4.5mm, 6.0mm, 9.0mm, 8.0/16.0mm, meeting various temperature and humidity requirements.
●Fans:Large-diameter 4-pole high-efficiency high-static pressure external rotor fans with thermal protection, offering long air throw, high static pressure, and comprehensive motor protection. EC energy-saving motors available as optional.
●Liquid Distributors:Low-pressure-drop Venturi-type distributors with wide liquid distribution range, adaptable to broad liquid supply temperatures, and high comprehensive efficiency. All models use single distributors for optimal piping and valve costs.
●Range Extension Kit:Kaidy self-developed range extension kit optimizes air circulation, disperses longitudinal acceleration radiation without pressure loss, and increases target air volume.
●Defrost:Utilizes electric or water defrost. Electric defrost: Stainless steel heating tubes evenly distributed in coil fins and internal drain pan for uniform, dead-zone-free defrosting.
●Water defrost: Utilizes Kaidy patented water distributors and spray trays for even frost melting with minimal drift. Hot gas defrost available per customer requirements.
●Junction Box:Utilizes IP65-rated waterproof junction boxes and connectors provide superior water resistance. Easy and simple wiring with high-voltage resistant terminals ensures high operational reliability.
●Testing:All air coolers undergo cleaning and inspection before shipment, passing strict 28bar pressure retention tests.
●Refrigerants:Compatible with R404A, R507A, R448A, R449A, R134a, R22, and other refrigerants.
●Pressure Connections:The standard coil header manifold is fitted with 1/4-inch Schrader valve ports for convenient pressure tapping for the electronic expansion valve.
